Happy Monday! We had a wonderful week-end, complete with a Cinco de Mayo celebration Saturday night. Saturday was wonderful, because for the first time in months I awoke with energy and no progestrone poisoning, as one of my books calls it. I was so excited. I proceeded to furiously clean, scrub, cook, and primp the house for our guests, making up for weeks of lost time in housekeeping. It was wonderful. Sunday morning, however, I woke up to sore muscles from my neck to my toes! Seems like my weeks of just level living, making through the day, had caused atrophe in all my moving parts! Yikes! Oh well. A clean house and good company was worth it! This morning, however, after raving about the miracle of quick recovery, I lost my blueberry waffles on my way out the door. So much for a speedy recovery. I have hope, though!
I'll post pictures here later of my Cinco table set up. It was cute, I think. I cut a paper table cloth to look like those festive square banners they hang in fiestas. The only bad part of the week-end was our hysterical upstairs neighbor who screams and squeels. It is distrubing. You would think at some point she would loose her voice...
I had to listen to it from noon until sometime around midnight. I called the resident services today to complain and they gave me our on-call police officers direct line. It is troubling on many levels, but I am really concerned about any violence that is going on. I hope the call from the complex helps quiet things down.
Until later, then. Love from us.
